British Airways is testing the iPads for its cabin crews to make out if they can improve the customer service. Right now, it is said to be distributed to only 100 cabin crew but the company is planning to give it to all senior members as well in the coming months. Folks at British Airways say that iPad gives them instant access to people’s preferences such as special meals and their tastes.
It will also give them information about the city where the people reside and where they are traveling to. The iPad tablets will also have the access to the arrival and departure of flights, manuals and service updates. While on board, the iPads will be hooked to the airplane’s 3G network to keep them updated with the information.
