Enable Airplay in All Apps

There are some really amazing Airplay apps out there but sometimes we do wish it was enabled in all apps, especially the ones that use the Apple Media Player for playing videos. Fortunately, there is a solution to it. However, we must keep in mind that the solution is not official. Ready? Read on.

The solution is called AllPlay. This requires you to have a jailbroken iPad and an app that does not uses its media player implementation. This is because AllPlay is not compatible with apps that use their own media player. A couple of such apps include Netflix and VLC.

So, how do you obtain it? Well, as I said earlier, you require a jailbroken iPad to use this tweak. So, if you are running iOS 4.3.3 feel free to follow either of these guides:

* iPad 4.3.3 redsnow jailbreak (recommended if you are using windows)
* iPad 4.3.3 pwnagetool jailbreak (if you are using a Mac)

Other jailbreak guides can be found on the right sidebar on iPadhype.

After you have done with jailbreaking, fire up Cydia (check all iPad cydia apps) and search for AllPlay. Install it. Note that, no new icons are added to the home screen and there are no configurable options. It just works.
