Grffin is now offering a helicopter that uses iPad as its remote control. The helicopter is called HELO TC and comes with an accessory dock which is the one that makes the helicopter iPad compatible. The dock uses four AAA batteries to power itself and helicopter has built in battery that can be charged via USB port of your computer.
Griffin iPad helicopter is made from lightweight metal frame and has a battery life is said to be around 8 minutes. There are two flight modes available – Touch control and Tilt to Steer mode. In Touch control, you control the copter using the multi touch iPad display and in Tilt to Steer mode, it uses iPad’s accelerometer. It is available for just 50 dollars.
