Earlier we reported that Apple is working on a higher resolution version of iPad 2 that will be called iPad 2 Plus. Well, today we have come to know that it will be instead called iPad 2 HD, not iPad 2 Plus. As mentioned earlier, this model will have 2048 x 1536 pixel resolution. The iPad HD will be a model meant for the professional and will be geared for the high end market.
It will come with professional apps such as Final Cut or Aperture for iPad. We have come to know that its will be released in the month of September and then launched in October. It is also obvious that Apple will release it with a higher price tag since it packs much more expensive components and extra quality applications compared to the vanilla iPad 2.
