Verizon Wireless has confirmed that they will no longer be offering unlimited data plans. Starting today, this giant network provider will be offering plans starting at 10 dollars / month. Fortunately, this applies only to the new customers as existing users can still hold onto their unlimited data plans, for now – until Verizon forces to make the change.
The new customers will have to choose between either of these plans: 2GB data (30 dollars), 5GB (50 dollars) or 10GB (80 dollars). If you cross the monthly allotment, you will have to pay 10 dollars extra for every extra GB your iPad consumes.
Nevertheless, Verizon data plans are still cheaper than AT&T which also forces you to pay 15 dollars for every additional 200MB you consume.
