An unofficial hack called RetinaPad has emerged that allows the iPhone’s higher resolution apps to be run in higher resolution on the iPad that sports a mighty 1024×768 pixel display.
Even though the iPad includes a zoom option for the iPhone apps, the graphics looks very ugly. Since the iPhone 4 runs the apps at 960 x 640 pixel display, these apps look pretty sharp on the iPad.
Get it from Cydia – search for RetinaPad. The tweak is by Ryan Petrich.
