UK network provider Vodafone UK has announced details of the iPad 2 plans. The carrier will be selling a subsidized version of the iPad (of course 3G version) for 200, 250 and 350 pounds for the 16, 32 and 64GB versions respectively. If you are an old customer, you will not have to pay any premium fees. However, in case you are a new customer, you will have to shell out an extra 30 pounds to become a Vodafone UK subscriber.
Of course (and as expected), you will have to enroll yourself into a 2 year contract where you will be bound to pay a hefty 24.50 pounds / month (27 pounds for new subscribers). This will allow you to ‘enjoy’ 2GB of data for free. Keep in mind that any extra usage will cost you 15 pounds / extra GB.
